Moguldom Builds on Strong Growth with New Hires in Sales and Digital Marketing
As Readership Soars Past 3 Million Unique Visitors, Moguldom Makes Strategic Investments in Key Personnel to Continue Momentum
March 15, 2011 – New York, NY – Moguldom Media Group, the leading digital media company that develops premium online publishing brands serving African-American audiences, today announced new hires designed to continue the company’s strong momentum across its portfolio of premier digital destinations. The company has signed Gerard A. Brewster as Sales Account Executive and Tiffany M. Nasralla as Digital Marketing Strategist.
Moguldom has grown rapidly into a major presence in digital media with high-profile properties such as Bossip.com, HipHopWired.com, AtlantaPost.com, MadameNoire.com, and 24Wired.TV. According to comScore, unique visitors to the company’s portfolio of sites grew over 100% in 2010; the sites have achieved a current reach of 3 million unique visitors (Google Analytics). Moguldom expects to achieve an aggregate reach of 5 million unique visitors by 2012. This runaway popularity with African-American readers has in turn driven strong interest by advertisers seeking targeted reach into diverse audiences such as Black Men, Black Women, African American Professionals, Teens, and African American/Urban Popular Culture. The newest additions to the Moguldom team will help the company capitalize on this opportunity through aggressive ad sales and next-generation digital marketing strategies.
Sales Account Executive Gerard A. Brewster is an ad sales professional with more than 14 years of success selling digital media advertising to agencies and accounts via innovative, needs-driven digital advertising, event sponsorship, and marketing programs. He has earned a strong reputation in the digital media industry across key categories such as CPG, entertainment, footwear/sportswear, pharmaceutical, retail, spirits, and telecommunications—all important markets served by the Moguldom portfolio. His career has included digital media sales positions with GlobalGrind.com, BET.com, and USATODAY.com.
Digital Marketing Strategist Tiffany M. Nasralla will draw on her experience in business analysis, sales management, client relations, and digital design with numerous Internet and real estate companies to help Moguldom enhance and expand its brand online. She will work in tandem with the company’s sales and marketing personnel to design and implement performance metrics, develop innovative growth initiatives, and help the company leverage the full range of emerging digital media marketing strategies.
“Having grown quickly into a major digital media company, Moguldom has reached a level of maturity and scale that calls for a comprehensive, optimized sales team,” said Marve Frazier, Chief Creative Officer for Moguldom Media Group. “Our goal remains to be the leader in African-American digital media, and our recent hires reflect our confidence in the market opportunity at hand as well as our ability to execute on it effectively.
